What is OMNI laser hair removal?

OMNI is a diode laser system from Sciton designed from the ground up for hair removal. Instead of one fixed wavelength, it uses several, including 760 nm, an 810/940 nm blend, and 1064 nm, so your provider can match the energy to your skin tone and hair type rather than forcing one setting to work for everyone. That flexibility is what makes it safe across the full range of skin types.

How does it work?

The laser sends light into the skin, where it is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. That energy converts to heat, which damages the follicle so it can no longer grow new hair. Because hair grows in cycles and only some follicles are active at any given moment, a series of sessions is needed to catch them all. Contact cooling runs throughout the treatment to keep the surface of your skin comfortable.

What makes OMNI different?

Speed, mostly. OMNI offers one of the largest spot sizes available, with a flat-top rectangular beam that covers more ground in fewer passes without leaving hot spots or gaps. A back or a pair of legs that used to mean a long appointment can be finished in a fraction of the time. It also skips the cold gel most hair removal lasers require, which makes the whole experience feel less clinical.
